I badly wanted to hold your hand and walk by your side as we travel the short distance of our home to your school. I wanted to personally know the name of your teacher and discuss how you did in school after your class.
I slept late last night to prepare your things and your clothes today. That, I know I can do for you. I want to skip work today, but I just can’t. It’s that time of the year again that mama has lots of work. In any days, I can leave everything for you, but not this time of the year. Someday you will understand that keeping the trust of others and your integrity is necessary and as important than these moments.
Deep down, I know my presence is not entirely necessary today as tita Fhabbie and lola is with you. Plus, I know your highly capable of managing your own. You probably would do better than me on my first day of school. You are already familiar with your school and you have the confidence to meet and speak with others. I know that you will not cry today.
